Collecting 75 vanity pets will unlock the achievement Lil' Game Hunter. You will receive an additional pet in the mail, as a reward. The pet is Little Fawn. It's just a plain baby deer. Some may find it cute.

Hey I know I'm months behind here in my reply, but have you tried this pet out yet? It's not "just a plain baby deer." After a few minutes of it being out, a wolf charges in from off-screen and kills the deer. A few guys in my guild have it, that wolf is in half of the screenshots the guild posts on their home page. Check it out sometime.
